ABOUT
Originally from Zimbabwe where I spent my formative years, I moved to Johannesburg South Africa and studied Interior design and practiced as an Architectural Interior Designer for many years. I always had a love for art, having taken it as a subject in school, and started art classes with various teachers in 2009 .
I mainly paint in oils on canvas, but also do pastels and love digital and multimedia digital art , where I convert my paintings into images which I then digitally stitch together to create new digital collages.
I have a great love and fascination for colour and tend to indulge in it.
I love exploring the human form, aiming to show humanness . I enjoy the theme of layering - that of images , colour and meaning . I am drawn to the unusual and oddness and quite like a bit of humour in my work . I investigates memory, humour and childhood through my work.
